I mean, from what I’ve seen, the news here is usually accurate. The articles don’t feel like they’re just throwing stuff out there, and most of the facts seem to line up, so it’s easy enough for me to trust them.

Overall, I think the site is good, especially if you’re trying to get decent value without spending too much. Some of the articles translate well, but the English could be a bit easier to understand in places. Still, for the price, I’m not too bothered

I usually trust Nikkei when I want serious business news, especially anything about Japan or Asia. It doesn’t feel super clickbaity, which makes me think the reporting is probably more reliable. Some of the articles are a little hard to follow, but that kind of makes it feel more professional in a way. Not the most exciting read, but overall I keep coming back to it...

I started using nikkei mainly to keep up with market news and Japan business updates, i’m relieved it turned out to be worth the subscription. I wasn’t sure at first if I’d use it enough, but if you check it regularly, the value is definitely there. Some articles can feel a little dry, and the site isn’t always the smoothest to use, but overall I’ve been happy with it.

"Fair price if you actually read it regularly"
Nikkei isn’t exactly cheap, but I’d say the price feels fair for what you get. I use it often enough that it feels worth paying for, and the quality has been solid overall. If you’re only going to check it once in a while, maybe think twice, but if you follow the news regularly, it’s a reasonable choice.

Pages load quickly for me. I usually check it while drinking my morning coffee, and even when I’m bouncing between a few tabs, it doesn’t really make me wait around.

"News shows up right when I need it"
I mostly use nikkei.com to keep up with Japan and the markets, and the speed is what keeps me coming back.
When something big is happening, especially early in the morning or during market moves, the updates are usually already there, I never feel like I’m catching up on yesterday’s news.

The site can feel a little crowded at times, but the fresh coverage makes up for it. Easy 5 stars from me.

"Feels like it knows what I want to read"
I’ve been using nikkei for a bit, and it just feels useful in a very low-effort way. The articles it shows me are usually close to the kinds of business and Japan news I already care about, so I don’t end up feeling annoyed or overwhelmed trying to search around. It’s kind of nice when an app gets your interests right, it makes checking the news feel easier and less like a chore. Simple, reliable, and I don’t really have any major complaints.

"Nikkei's ad circus makes it hard to read"
I tried reading nikkei.com, but wow, the ads are out of control. Pop-ups, banners, random junk shifting around the page — it turns the whole site into an annoying little ad zoo. Half the time I’m just trying to read an article and end up clicking something by accident because an ad loads late. I get that websites need ads to make money, but this is way over the top. it makes the reading experience miserable.

"Billing Has Been Surprisingly Hassle-Free"
I’ve been using nikkei.com for a while now, and to be fair, the billing has actually been smooth. Payments go through when they’re supposed to, and the receipts show up without me having to hunt them down, which is apparently not something every service can manage.

I did have to update my card once, and it went through fine without any random extra charge or mysterious issue popping up. So, credit where it’s due, there’s not much to complain about on the billing side.

"Not totally comfortable with the privacy side"
I tried using nikkei.com, but the privacy settings left me a bit unsure. There were a lot of popups and options, and I couldn’t really tell what was being collected or how it was being used. Maybe I’m just being extra cautious, and the site might be fine, but I didn’t feel completely safe leaving my data there.

I appreciate that Nikkei is upfront about what’s paid and what isn’t. It doesn’t lure you in and then spring the paywall on you at the end, which is a relief. The subscription labels are clear, and the pricing/login stuff was easy enough to figure out. I still felt a little trapped sometimes, like once you hit a paid article there’s not much you can do except subscribe or leave, but at least they’re honest about it

I like it for keeping up with Japan market news, and there’s usually some solid info here. The site does feel a little cluttered though, and it’s frustrating when too many articles are locked. Still, I find myself checking it because the coverage is generally helpful

I’ve found Nikkei useful overall, especially for Asia market news and broader coverage that I don’t always see elsewhere. Some of the articles can feel a little dense, and I do wish there were clearer instructions or a bit more guidance on where to start with certain topics. Still, most days it’s a reliable source and worth checking.
